LL XING

Allows entry of Lat/Long crossing points.

Allows insertion of a waypoint into the flight plan.

Allows the flight crew to change the destination airport

 

HOLD

Allows the flight crew to enter a a holding pattern at the waypoint

 

Common Prompts

 

FIX INFO

Allows the flight crew to enter a fix waypoint and an intercept

AIRWAYS

Allows the flight crew to build a flight plan using airways.

 

RETURN

Returns to the flight plan page

 

DEPARTURE

Calls up the SID departure pages to allow the flight crew to enter a suitable SID

 

Origin Lat Rev

 

ARRIVAL

Calls up the STAR pages to allow the flight crew to enter a suitable STAR

 

Destination Lat Rev

 

OFFSET

Allows an entry for an lateral offset of the flight plan

 

From Waypoint Lat Rev

 

The Lateral Revision pages allow the flight crew to make flight plan revisions beyond the selected waypoint. There are several Lateral revision pages available depending upon the type of the waypoint selected

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lateral Revision Pages

 

 

The Lateral Revision page of a flight plan way point is accessed by pressing the LSK  on the left of the waypoint whilst the Flight Plan Page is showing. Ensure that the scratchpad  is empty or the MCDU will assume that you are entering a waypoint
