Fix Info

The Flight Crew may enter a Fix waypoint on the Fix Info page. The page is accessed from the Lateral Revision page of any flight plan waypoint. The Abeam points and radial intersections of the Fix show up on the ND and appear in the flight plan.

Select the Flight Plan page by pressing the F-PLN key on the MCDU

Select a Lateral Revision at any waypoint (except the destination), in this example the waypoint was KOK

Select the FIX INFO prompt to access the FIX INFO page. The page will initially show amber boxes. To enter a Fix reference, write into the scratchpad the required fix (CLN in our example) and enter at LSK_L1

The MCDU will then try to calculate the Abeam point if it lies in the flight plan, and if the Fix Reference is not too far from the flight plan

It is also possible to enter a radial from the fix that intercepts the flight plan. The radial is entered on lines 2 to 4 using the Left LSK.

If the MCDU is able to calculate the interception point a prompt will appear against the radial.

If selected, the waypoint is entered as ZZZXXX where XXX is the radial and ZZZ is the first 3 characters of the Fix Name
