The flight plan page shows the information for each way point.

The Scroll Up/Down arrows can be used to scroll through the flight plan.

To scroll up and down in the flight plan, press the
Up/Down keys on the MCDU. If Nav Display is selected to the PLAN mode, the Map will center on the waypoint at the top of the flight plan page.

The flight plan is displayed in two halves. The first half (which appears when the flight plan page is selected) shows the Waypoint, is course, ETA, Target or estimated altitude and target speed.

 

 

The second half of the flight plan page shows the estimated wind speed and direction, and fuel on board at the waypoint

 

 

 

Prompts

 

Left LSK

Right LSK

Calls up the Lateral Revision Page

 

Calls up the Vertical Revision Page

 

There are no prompts as such o n the flight plan page, but pressing a LSK against a waypoint will bring up the lateral or Vertical Revision pages.

 

 

 

Adding / Deleting Waypoints

 

Way points may added directly into the flight plan using the Flight Plan page. Way points may also be deleted directly from the flight plan page, using the CLR function

 

 

Inserting Constraints

 

For any waypoint, the flight crew may insert a constraint such as an altitude or speed or time.

 

 

 

Over Fly

 

For any waypoint, the flight crew may cause the flight plan to over fly that way point before commencing any turns.

 

 

 

The flight plan page is accessed directly from the F PLAN button . All the performance data shown on the Flight Plan page is in Magenta when the performance calculations have not yet been run. This occurs on the ground, before the aircraft weights, Cruise altitude inputs, or ADIRU alignment has occurred
