Displays
PFD
There are two Primary Flight Displays, (PFD) which show the speed, attitude, altitude heading in the traditional T format. The Altitude, Speed, and heading are displayed as moving tapes. At the top of the PFD is the Flight Mode Annunciation (FMA), which shows the actual status of the FMGS modes
ND
There are two Navigation Displays, (ND) which show the horizontal map information. Each ND can be controlled by its associated Nav Control panel to select a number of different displays, different navigation features and to control the scale of the map.
EWD
There is one Engine Warning Display (EWD), showing the status of the engines and warning, or status information to the flight crew,
SD
There is one System Display (SD) showing the status of several aircraft systems. Each aircraft system may be displayed using a the ECAM Control Panel in the center pedestal.
