Route Construction

 

 

There are 3 ways to construct a route :

Flight Plan Construction

 

1 : A company route

There exists a company route in the FMGS data base and it is known by name to the flight  crew. The flight crew enter its name on the INIT A page in the boxed prompt for CO ROUTE

2 : A City Pair which brings up a company route

There exists a company route in the FMGS data base but it is not known by name to the flight  crew. The flight crew enter a ICAO city pair in the INIT A  page boxed prompt FROM/TO.

3 : No company route exits

There is no  company route in the FMGS data base .

The data base company route(s) appear

When inserted, all the INIT A data is set fro the company route file

When No company route exits between ICAO city pair , the route page shows “NONE”.

The flight crew may construct a route using waypoints and airways in the Flight Plan page
