Approach into Orlando Sanford

 

 

The aircraft captures the IS and turns right onto the ILS approach for runway 27R .

Flaps 1 , then 2 are selected. Each time the speed is checked first for proper deployment of the flaps

ILS runway 27R approach in to Sanford. Tracking the LOC and G/S signals.

By 1000 ft

Flight crew check that he aircraft is stabilized on the approach. The landing gear is down, speed is 138 knots.

At 350 ft

Fight crew check  that LAND is annunciated on the FMA

At 50 ft

The flight crew check  that FLARE is annunciated on the FMA

At about 30ft

The RETARD prompt is signaled, requesting the flight crew to return  the thrust levers to the Idle position.

At touch down

ROLL OUT mode engages.

The Landing ECAM is displayed in the EWD and Landing Inhibit is annunciated. Any failures now will not be annunciated to the flight crew at this critical time, until the aircraft has landed.

The PNF is prompted to arm the ground spoilers. Arming the ground spoilers will allow the auto brake to function on landing. The flight crew now perform the landing checks.
