Lights Panel

 

 

Terrain button

When selected, this allows the ND to show the terrain height map in front of the aircraft.

 

 

North Reference

When pressed in, the ND shows the map and compass rose in True heading mode.

 

 

ECAM DMC selection

This knob is used to select the required Display Management Computer (DMC) for the Ewd and SD displays. In Auto, the EWD and SD will receive data from DMC 1 if DMC 3 fails.

 

The normal set of standby instruments are located on the front panel t the right of the captains displays. Some aircraft have a combined Altitude, Airspeed and Attitude instrument receiving data from ADIRU 3.

 

 

An RMI/DME instrument ( not shown here) is also located on this panel.

 

 

When true heading is being used, the ND and PFD show TRUE in blue. The button is illuminated green

 

 

ECAM selection

The knob allows the System Display to be shown in the required ND.

 

For the A330-200 PC simulation, the Standby Attitude instruments needs to be un caged. This is achieved by “pulling” on the cage knob by using the mouse wheel.

 

For the A330-200 PC simulation, the Standby Altimeter barro correction is changed in the same manner as for the Nav Control Panel barro correction. The left mouse press on the rigt of the correction knob increments the barro setting and ot the left of the knob decrements the setting.
