Pressing the Weather button on the main dialog calls up the Weather Dialog. This dialog is used to acquire wind speeds, QNH values etc for use in the data entry for the MCDU.

The Speed Factor slider allows the user to factor the wind speeds from their nominal 100% value down to zero. The current wind speed and direction for the aircraft’s location are shown to the right.

The intended flight plan is shown in green, if entered or enough waypoints exists.  By double clicking on the map, another dialog is presented with the wind speeds, Po, To etc for that location. The wind speeds may then be entered into the MCDU Wind pages.
