DC Busses

 

As with the AC system display, the electrical buses are shown as dark gray rectangles. The DC buses are

 

 

Terminal Rectifiers (TR)

 

The Terminal Rectifier status is shown at the bottom of the display. The DC voltage and current is displayed along with the AC bus indication that is supplying the electrical power.

 

 

Batteries

 

The battery status are shown at the top of the display The status shows the voltage and the current for each battery. If a battery is turned off then the “OFF” indication is shown.

 

 

Pressing the ELDC push button on the ECAM Control panel will produce the Electrical DC display on the System Display.

If a bus is not powered, then the Bus name is shown in amber color

 

 

The System Display requires AC power to work, so before Ac power is applied to the aircraft, the battery voltages may be observed using the switch and LCD display in the overhead electrical panel. This LCD display is hard wired to the batteries and shows their voltage at all times.
