PFD : Flight Mode Annunciation

 

At the top of the PFD is the Flight Mode annunciation This indication shows the current aircraft's FMGS status. It shows the current A/THR mode, the current Pitch and Roll Mode and the Auto flight status. During approach it also shows the approach status.

 

Left most column contains the A/THR mode information. This can also show the manually set engine modes of MCT/FLX or TOGA.

 

The second column displays the currently selected Pitch mode and its armed mode. .

 

The third column displays the currently selected Roll mode and its armed mode.

 

The fourth column displays the Auttoland mode information.

 

The right most column displays the Autoflight Status. Indicates the F/D On /Off status, A/THR status and the A/P status.
