Gear transition Up/Down

 

 

Raising the wheels after take off is conventional. The gear lever is located on the landing gear panel in the center of the forward console The indications on the panel show the landing gear status. Red UNLK indications show the landing gear is unlocked and in transit. On the Wheels system display the triangular icons, show the landing gear leg state. The amber or green lines show the undercarriage door state.

 

 

When the landing gear is fully up and locked, the wheels system display show just the closed under carriage doors in green.

 

 

Apart from various ECAM warnings, the landing gear panel indicates a red gear down light if the landing gear is not down and locked below 800 ft radio altitude during approach
