Nose Wheel Steering

Nose wheel steering is accomplished by using the tiller on either side of the cockpit. The tiller allows for   X degrees of nose wheel turn. The nose wheel may also be steered by the ruder pedals. At about 100 knots, the nose wheel is self centered.

Gear Up Down

Nose wheel steering is disconnected by the ground crew when the aircraft is pushed back from the stand. A NSW/DISC message will appear in the EWD ECAM when this occurs. After push back, the NSW is re-connected by the ground crew.
