Initial Cockpit Preparation

 

 

We will join this flight at the point where the Pilot Non Flying has performed the walk around, and the Pilot Flying has entered the company route into the MCDU and the flight crew is in the final stages of preparation prior to the take off.

If using the A330-200 PC simulation to following this flight, please ensure that the cockpit has been set up as follows:

Long Haul
Final Cockpit Preperation

Ensure  that there are no “OFF” lights illuminated. External aircraft lights switches in the off position, ADIRU knobs in the NAV position. Hydraulic electrical pump and Engine Pump buttons in and guarded as appropriate.

Pedestal

 

 

Ensure  that the engine start switches are aft, and the parking brake is on. Flap handle in UP and the speed brake handle in.

Instrument panel

 

 

Ensure  that the display on/off knobs are in the On position. Gear lever is down.

Program

 

 

Press the “JoyStick” program button to attach the joystick.
