The secondary flight plan is an alternate flight plan that can be built independently of the active flight and activated if necessary. It may include all vertical elements except those of history wind.

Construction of a secondary flight plan may be done at any time, and it may be constructed from copying the active flight plan. The Nav Display shows the secondary flight plan on white.

The secondary flight plan may be deleted at any time independently of the active flight plan

There are two secondary flight plan index pages, which may be accessed by the SEC F-PLAN Menu button on the MCDU.
