Landing Gear

The A330 has a conventional landing gear layout of a single bogie nose wheel and double bogie main landing gear. The nose gear has 2 wheels and each main landing gear has 4 wheels. The control of the undercarriage is provided by 2 Landing Gear Control/Interface Units (LGCIU). The undercarriage is retracted using Green hydraulic system.

At the center of the cockpit, the landing gear panel allows the flight crew to raise and lower the landing gear, and to select the auto brake mode.

The wheel system page on the system display shows the landing gear, under carriage door and wheel status. The spoiler positions are also shown so that they can easily observed when ground spoilers are deployed.
