Indications

The engine parameters are displayed at all times on the Engine and Warning display, (EWD) in the center of the cockpit.

The EWD shows the N1, EGT, N2 and Fuel Flow for each engine. A sub set of these indications are also shown on t he Cruise system display page that is usually shown during the flight.

In addition to these indications there is also an engine system display page which may be selected by pressing the ENG button on the ECAM system display panel.

The engine system display page automatically appears during engine start and if there is any failure associated with the engines during flight.

The N1 indication has a green indicator line and a digital read out. The blue circle shows the N1 that would be achieved using the actual thrust lever position. This is used to match the thrust lever position when disconnecting the A/THR system.

The EGT  indication has a green indicator line and a digital read out.

The N2  indication is just a digital read out.
