Hydraulic System Overhead panel

 

Engine  Pump Buttons ( guarded)

 

The control of the aircraft’s hydraulic system is via an Hydraulic panel in the overhead section of the cockpit.

 

Panel shown with guards. Open and lamps test on

 

 

Normal operation. The pump will pressurize the system when the engine is running

 

 

In/On

 

Pump is de-energized.

 

 

Out/Off

 

Reservoir level low

Reservoir overheat

Reservoir low air pressure

Pump pressure low. (inhibited on ground, engine not running)

 

 

FAULT

 

Pump is not energized

 

 

Electric Pump Auto Buttons ( guarded)

 

Guarded button. Pressed in , the electrical pump will run, if the associated engine pump is off. The pump is not intended to replace the engine driven pump and can not be used for prolonged periods.

In

 

The electric pump can only be automatically run, ( Yellow and Green system only)

 

 

Out

Electric  Pump Buttons

 

Electric pump is energized and available for pumping if needed

 

 

In/On

 

Pump is depressurized.

 

 

Out/Off

 

RAT  Button, under red cover

 

The RAT may be deployed at anytime by selecting this button, once the guard is removed.

 

 

OFF

 

Pump is energized an running

 

 

ON

 

Reservoir level low

Reservoir overheat

Reservoir low air pressure

Pump pressure low. (inhibited on ground, engine not running)

 

FAULT

 

Pump is not energized

 

 

OFF

 

Note that the RAT may also be automatically deployed without the need to select this button.

   when both engines have failed, or  Green + Blue or Green + Yellow is showing Low Level.
