Fuel Panel

 

 

Center Tank Pumps

 

Two center tank pump push buttons, Left and right. In the middle is the Center Tank Transfer mode button. Pressed in the mode is Auto. Pressed out the mode is manual.

 

Main fuel  Pumps

 

On either side, Left and Right main pump push buttons. For each side there are the 1 & 2 pumps and a standby pump. Pressed in the  pumps are activated automatically. Pressed out the pumps are off.

 

Cross Feed Valve

 

In the center of the panel is the cross feed valve push button. Pressed in the The cross feed valve is commanded to open, allowing either engine to be supplied with fuel from either side.

 

Forward Transfer button and Tail Isolation valve switch

 

Pressed in the forward transfer occurs manually. Pressed out the forward transfer occurs automatically when commanded by the FMGC.

 

The Tail Isolation Valve switch (guarded) allows the valve to be forced open or to be isolated. Its standard configuration is in auto position.

 

Outer tank Transfer button

 

This is a guarded button. Pressed out the outer to inner tanks transfer manually. Pressed in the Outer to inner tanks transfer occurs automatically.

 

The fuel panel is located on the over head panel in the center.  The buttons control various valves and pumps in the fuel system. Before takeoff, all white light should be off, and the Tail Isolation valve switch set to auto.
