Normal Engine Feed

 

Normal engine feed is from the collector box of the inner tank.  For each engine, the two fuel pumps L1/L2 (R1/R2) are used.

 

The engine LP valve is controlled by the engine Master switch, or by the engine fire button.

 

 

   

 

 

Inner tank down to 4000 Kg

 

 

 

 

Outer tank transfers to Inner tank

 

 

 

 

Tail tank transfers to inner tank during flight for CG management.

 

 

 

 

The fuel is used in this sequence:

 

 

 

 

For each engine, a standby pump may be utilized in case of a failure of the main pumps. The standby pumps are controlled from the overhead panel.

 

 

    

 

 

For the A330-200 there is a center tank. Fuel may utilized form this tank using the center tank pumps.

 

These pumps are controlled from the over head panel

 

 

   

 

 

The Fuel SD page shows the standby fuel pumps in line green when they are active.
